| Hey you guys!!! Sorry, this virus has been around my house lately....it prevents me from using hotmail, yahoo, xanga, and mapquest. So yeah, i'm using my brother's computer to update.
Anyway, it's summer vacation and things have been unusual for a summer break. First I went to Europe. I visited Rome, Pompeii, Florence, the Vatican, Paris, and London. I went with my brother's Jr. high group, Mrs. Radotic's daughter's high school group, and a Florida high school group. Our tour guide's name was John. Man, was he cute!!! I'll try to find a picture of him. And believe me, I rarely say a guy is cute, so yeah, you know this is a rare instance of Casey being girly!!! Charish this moment...because you won't often get one like this!! Anyway, he knew Italian (Roman version), French, English, and Gailic (or what some people know as Irish). He was quite sweet, humorous, and was an overall great tourguide. So yeah, we toured A TON of different places....
Darn, i have to go to bed and xanga won't let me copy and paste this into another document. I hope to finish the entry later!!!
| Ok...lots to say...but first of all.........WHERE THE HECK IS MY VAMPIRE PRINCESS MIYU PIC??????? I just noticed that it was gone! I've had it on there since the first day I have used Xanga!!! Could someone help me out please?
Now I know it's spring break for me, but now I have to work. I have a debate tournament this Saturday at St. Mary's. While I'm excited, at the same time, I'm concerned. A part of me really wants to win the competition and go to State Finals in speech, but another part of me doesn't want to go because it'll interfere with studying for AP tests since the state tournament is the weekend before AP testing. On top of that, I have been getting really low scores in Congress debate. So...we'll see......
Being a procrastinator as I am, I have not finished my English portfolio assignment. I just started it and it is due the day before Prom. I called Jesse up about it and he told me "You're screwed, Casey". lol! No, I will make sure I will not procrastinate to the point of staying up extremely late!!!! I will work on this portfolio during the regular school time since Science Olympiad is over. I think the only other stuff besides school I have is speech, flute, TAC, and helping Tara out with her senior project. Oh, and some YBA stuff too on one weekend. We have the "Buddhism Reloaded" conference coming up in two weekends. On top of that, my cousins birthday is on that Sunday. So yeah, I won't have time to do practically ANY hw! But yeah, besides all of that, I'm pretty ok. Might have to help out with the Nerd's Club Pageneat though....I think overall I will have time to work on my ENglish portfolio...and I WILL MAKE TIME FOR IT!!! I will NOT BE SCREWED OVER!!!!! MWAHAHA!!!! I SHALL PROVE JESSE WRONG! lol! Yeah, don't ask...our relationship is SO ODD!
Speaking of that, Prom is coming up...and I'm trying to get my expenses paid so I can buy more graphic novels. On top of all that I still have to buy Emma and Margaret presents. Am I a bad friend? I have to buy gifts for people whose b-days were in Februrary!!!! Grrr!!! BAD ME!!! So yeah, hopefully I can get that done. Then I am still concerned about my Prom dress. I'm wondering if it is appropriate for the dance. It's really long and it isn't poofy. I might want to confirm this with the other girls in my group.
Finally, I have tennis lessons in an hour and a half. I have to read this English book though before I go though.
Oh, and for anyone that wants to talk to me on Sunday, please don't! I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but I REALLY HAVE TO GET WORK DONE!!! It's not even funny how much work I have not done over break because I have been relaxing! Thanks!!!
| Hey everyone! Thanks for those who posted up comments! I really enjoy reading them!
Guess what I have been doing a lot for the past week? RELAXING!!! This is something I don't do often...so it is so wonderful to me!
What is my definitoin of relaxing you may ask. My definition of relaxing is settling down to play a nice video game, reading a good book, watch some tv, or just hanging out with family or friends for fun! So lately, I've been trying to catch up on my manga! Been reading lots of graphic novels for me!!!! YAY!!!!! This is the definition of a manga lover's relaxation!
So yeah, besides relaxing, I have money issues to contend with. I'm going to prom with Jesse. Both of us have decided to split a lot of the cost since it is SO EXPENSIVE! So I have about 80 something odd dollars I have to pay for prom which includes the bid, dress, etc.....thankfully Jesse will probably pay for dinner...because that is ANOTHER added expense...I'm not rich here people! lol!
So now, I will end this short entry with a couple last minute thoughts...this gives you an inside look at what I'm thinking right now!!! Isn't that great? lol!
Thoughts:
1) Hope to have fun tomorrow at the Winter Percussion and Guard performance. GO LODI! *turns around at school-spirit haters* what? Never said I support the sports...band is awesome!!!! *runs away from still angry school-spirit haters*
2) Mmmm....that dinner at Matsuyama's was great! Really enjoyed the Japanese food........so.....good!
3) Hope tutoring Andrew tomorrow goes well! It did last week...sure I don't get paid as much as I did with Katie...but Andrew is much more intelligent than Katie and he's a better kid to work with.
4) Hope 20/20 has some great news story on! Better finish this so I don't miss is!
5) History channel had a great program on Hitler's council...very interesting...
6) GOT TO BUY B-day gifts! So many b-day gifts I have not bought presents for! Got to buy presents for: Emma, Margaret, and Nathan....oh..and Dad's b-day is coming up...........darn! Grandpa is also turning 80.......hmm........
7) got to finish.......MANGA!!!!
8) Darn...I have that stupid English AP portfolio assignment.........
9) See ya! | | |
| Hey, how is everyone? Heck, I don't know if anyone actually reads this thing. If you do, could you post a comment every once in awhile? Thanks!
So you may be wondering how are things going with me? This is the question that most people probably want to know when they go to one's xanga site.
Well, not too good. I've been getting less and less sleep to the point where I only got 4 hours on Friday. Tara says I need to get more sleep because I told her my grades have been gradually dropping. True I try to be a good student. However, when you get your first F on a test EVER in high school, you will get very scared like me! Now I have a C in AP Chem and I don't like it at all! Mr. D. said I need to come in for extra help if I am concerned. So that is what I shall be doing from now on. I like studying some chemistry because it allows for me to understand some astronomy concepts for Science Olympiad.
Well I hope one of the songs from the Flute Choir makes it to Chambers. It is this festival where people play solos, duets, or small group songs. I am playing a couple songs with Flute Choir and I am also playing a duet with Jesse. The title of this piece we are doing is called "Teen Love" and it's definitely a song I need to practice or else I won't do well. He also messed up on composing some of the song.
I've been suffering from bad allergies lately...hope I can get better with my alegra medication.
Buddhism Reloaded, the theme at the WYBL Conference, is something interesting. I'm not too sure if I want to go, but I'm going because I am secretary of the Young Buddhists Association. Sure I like my religion, but don't really appreciate the people in it. Oh well, can't be liked by everyone.
Speaking of that, one of my friends told me that one of my partners in science olympiad is scared of me. I didn't think I was a frightening person. Am I? I asked Tara and she said no but I am extremely open and everyone knows that I am there. It's not a bad thing but at the same time I didn't realize such a thing. What do some of you think??? Please tell me! Feed back is greatly appreciated!
Is it wrong to love a nickolodeon cartoon??? Because I really really really like Danny Phantom now. It's such a great cartoon, the only one I've really had a true liking to. I like the ghost idea A LOT. Don't know why I'm so interested in the supernatural like ghosts, witches, and ESPECIALLY vampires.....Heck, most of my manga collection is vampire related.
Well, one last thing before I end my ramblings and going to bed. I got back from a JACL (Japanese American Citizens League for those of you that don't know....sorry...lot of random and weird organizations I'm in) Dinner that they hosted for a fundraiser. The Lodi High Speech Team helped out to get $400. (Lodi Speechies forever!!!! *walks away slowly from the weird glares*) So yeah, I was there and it tired me out! I had to sell raffle tickets..which was an interesting job.
Not been the greatest of days for me, my life is not the greatest...sure I have suffered FAR WORSE, but still.........don't know with my life lately.......well i'm going to bed now....good night.

| Wow, it's been awhile since I posted last time! LOL! But yeah, it's a welcome to the year 2005 and I have been 17 years old for about 11 days.
So yeah, want to know about my life? Well I guess you do since you did visit this site, heh.....Anyway....
School is hectic as usual. I had a quiz in Spanish, history test, also supposed to have a chem test but the test mysteriously disappeared, and had a Lion's Club speech due. All of this occurred today. So yeah, stress is high on my monitor.
Mom is concerned with me taking the SATs as well as taking Calculus. But yeah, we'll see how it goes....she says that Calc. would be too hard and it would lower my gpa. However people like Mrs. Watt and Jesse want me to take it. Mrs. Watt is obviously going to tell kids to take it because she's the Pre-calc teacher and her job is to prepare us for Calc. Jesse says that if I go into Calc i will learn something compared to being bored out of my mind in with Stats. AP. Plus he probably wants us to have a lot of classes together senior year. He also wants me to take Physics AP with him but I don't know if I'd do well in that class plus I want to take Bio AP instead. That class may not get passed though.
Extra-cricul. Activites (yes, I intentionally misspelled that word) are going ok I suppose. I went to a science olympiad practice and it went quite well with the exception that we got lost on the way to our coach's house. Also while I was at his house I accientally ripped a tea package open and it spilled into my cup.......yeah, it was quite embarassing...heh......Moving on....Flute choir is starting up again thankfully this Tuesday at Charla's house. I hope we actually perform as a group, that was one of the reasons why I joined. Other reasons include being with my band buds in the flute section and getting to know some of the band members. Speech is going along ok. I'm still 8th on the team which everyone says (I know I missed a comma earler after the word team for all of you editing buffs!) is really a great accomplishment. However, I do not find it an extremely great achievement. People like Mike and Tim have hundreds of points compared to my 600. Only reason why I'm at this position is due to seniority. Oh well.....
Anime/manga part of my life is starting to slide. I mean don't get me wrong, anime and manga are some of my greatest enjoyments in this lifetime but it's hard to find time to read graphic novels and watch anime. Lack of time is really the key issue here. Thankfully I have a free weekend to kind of relax a bit. Still, I have a luncheon to attend to represent the Lodi Japanese American Citizens League. I'm the official "Youth Representative" of Lodi High School, which is quite sad since I personally don't feel like I represent Lodi High but I got chosen because my mom elected me and with the lack of a huge Japanese population there it was obvious I would get the posistion.
Well I need to go to bed soon. However I would like to say one more thing before I go to bed. A part of me is saying not to type this thing up, but this is my website and I feel that it's my right to express my opinion if I feel like it. It's on a weird issue. Sheldon is dating a girl (who looks like a man) named Cayce. Being his friend I would support him through anything that I thought was good for him. At first I thought it was great that he finally found love. However, someone told me that Cayce has gone through several boyfriends in the past. This pattern to me shows that Cayce may not be right for Sheldon because I don't want him to be like all those other guys. True I don't feel like she the most aweful person, but I just hope he knows what he is getting himself into. She's also going to be graduating this year so I think it's going to be really sad for him if they do stay together.
Oh well, I'm tired now. It's time for some sleep. Last random thoughts before logging off:
1) Had a nice time with Jesse when we watched THE VILLAGE together
2) Hope Nathan is at his mom's house so I can talk to him. Haven't talked to him since winter break ended.
3) I think I'll read a graphic novel.
4) Must call Andrea tomorrow morning about Chem AP study session.
5) Must call Margaret about suprrise party for Sarah.
6) Find Emma a b-day present relating to Ceres......
